THIRTY-NINE.

I think my recent obsession with The Golden Girls is rubbing off on my wardrobe..  It's  not my fault I was born in the wrong decade.  But for reals, midi skirts and over-sized sweaters have taken over the runway.  As long as you inject enough color into this trend, it will look modern and fresh, not dated and frumpy.

 Snow day!  I hope everyone is enjoying the excuse to stay in and do absolutely nothing.. This is seriously the only part of living in the northeast I enjoy.  I take that back, I am also very proud of my collection of furry coats.  Anyways, here's my snowball fight outfit.

So I'd like to introduce you to my favorite shoes of the season... How amaze are these gold chained boots from Jeffrey Campbell?!  I own so many shoes from this designer because not only is the price point great, but the styles are super edgy and the construction is on point.  I bet you guys thought they were Givency or something.

LOVING enormous belts right now, they look especially modern when cinching an over-sized sweater or coat.  Also loving the pants-melting-into-the-shoe trend, which I may have just made up.  This wouldn't be a true Kameleon look of I didn't add a punch of color, so a neon orange clutch it is!

Throwback to my first Clueless post.. Layers for warmth become monotonous,  so textures and patterns are my savior. But we already knew that. Selecting clothing items that mimic the hidden colors in a statement piece will ingeniously pull your entire outfit together.

Monday deets.. all white everythang with splashes of color.  Pastels in winter are forever edgy in a soft and unexpected way, especially when they are enhanced with neon accents. My take on the the midi skirt over pants trend? Asymmetrical and ripped.

On Saturday night we wear silver!  There is no classier color combo then black and silver, especially in the depths of winter.  Throw your hair up in a messy pony, smear on some goth lips; and you are ready for a night out on the -8 degrees town.

THIRTY.

Friday night deets... Bright blue and sparkles, and bright blue sparkles. A classy grey fedora and ripped black skinnies to tone it all down.  The key to mixing all these different details together?  Similar color/ texture palettes, neutrals to balance, and to just have fun! Never take fashion to seriously.

TWENTY- NINE.

Sometimes a look comes out so well, it is impossible to not post all the shots! So... I did.  This Tularosa coat (which I always refer to as "my rug") gets more compliments then anything else in my wardrobe.  It's so freaking versatile, you can literally wear it with anything... a fancy date dress, jeans, leggings, leather... ANYTHING.  I'm currently on the lookout for more knobby and rug-like items to join the family.  They have a special place right next to all 50 of my furry coats.

TWENTY-EIGHT.

If I lived in L.A., this would be my daily winter uniform.  Rachel Zoe silhouettes and layering techniques, infused with pops of color. But since its below freezing in Boston and 80 degrees in Miami, these outfits will just hang out in my closet for now.  Springtime in Boston is what, only 4 months away?

I figured a good dose of red-violets might help cancel out the Monday blues.  One of my favorite color clashes/ combinations is bright reds mixed with magenta or violet.  Ever since Gucci's Fall 2011 collection, I've been hooked.  I decided to update the look and make it more wearable by adding some ripped skinny's and denim spiked booties.  Why not, right?

TWENTY-FIVE.

I've been trying to get my hands on these super badass lace-up boot/gladiators for quite a while now.  The only problem? It's like 0 degrees outside and don't think amputated toes due to frostbite would compliment them very well.  So as usual I will prance around my apartment in them, and wait for that freak warmish day where they can make a public debut.
